Germany, Wehrmacht. A Polish Army Cap Badge with 1939 German Campaign Dedication visually-hidden This particular buckle is illustrated(Polen Schirmmtzenadler mit Gravur). Constructed of a silver alloy, the obverse consisting of a crowned Polish national eagle perched on top of a shield, the latter bearing an engraved dedication of 1939 POLENFELDZUG (1939 POLAND CAMPAIGN), the reverse retaining both lugs, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), weighing 13. 4 grams, a superb memento of a German soldiers service in the opening stage of the Second World War, in extremely fine
