Portugal, Kingdom. A Military Order of Christ, Officer Republic of An Indian Victory Star 1939-1945(Ordem de Cristo). Instituted 1319. Type I. (1789 1910 Issue). In silver and enamels, featuring a four point maltese cross with ball finials, with wreath segments in each quadrant, the obverse medallion in Gold featuring a red enamelled cross, reverse mirrors the obverse, surmounted by a large crown, marked with a boars head on the suspension and tassels denoting french manufacturer post 1838 and silver composition, measures 39. 4 mm (w) x 61. 5 mm
