Located in Barsac but working well beyond the sweet wine tradition, the Chaigneau family farms old vines organically and bottles with minimal sulfurmaking some of the regions most unconventional and soulful reds. Cuve K 2011 is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc from low yielding vines, fermented with native yeasts and bottled unfiltered. Over a decade on, its mellowed into
